Storing Voucher Purchases from Third Party Service Providers
CityPockets store voucher purchases from selected third party service providers to help you manage and keep track of them on one single repository. We are not responsible for any content that was accidentally deleted or marked as used. Please contact us at support@citypockets.com if you have any questions or need technical assistance.
Reselling and Buying Vouchers from Third Party Service Providers
CityPockets facilitates the transaction of vouchers from selected third party service providers between two individuals. We are not responsible for any personal information disclosed or listed on the vouchers that have been exchanged such as name or email address. Contests, Giveaways and Surveys
From time to time, CityPockets may offer you the opportunity to participate in contests, giveaways and other promotions. Any information submitted in connection with such activities will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy, except as specifically set forth in the rules for those contests, giveaways or promotions. From time to time, CityPockets may also ask you to participate in surveys designed to help us improve the Site. Any personal information provided to CityPockets in connection with any survey will be used only in relation to that survey and as elsewhere set forth in this Policy.
Age Appropriate Content
CityPockets is not intended for use by children, especially those under age 13. No one under age 13 is allowed to use the site, provide any personal information or receive our email distributions. This Privacy Policy covers CityPockets's treatment of personal information that CityPockets gathers when you are on the CityPockets website and when you use CityPockets services.

What categories of Personal Information does the CityPockets collect?
Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with a friendly, customized, and efficient experience. We only collect personal information that is relevant to the purpose of our website. We do not process this information in a way that is incompatible with the purpose for which it has been collected or subsequently authorized by you.
In order to use CityPockets, we require you to create a CityPockets username and password. During registration you are required to give your email address. Specifically, CityPockets collects the following categories of personal information about you:
A. Registration Information: When you register for CityPockets, you will be asked for basic registration information, such as a CityPockets username and password which you choose, e-mail address, etc. Additional information may be required to utilize value-added features of CityPockets, such as Auto-Registration and Password Reset, or to access specific third party service providers. This information may include your passwords and usernames for the third party service providers. We will use this information for providing the services you requested and accessing the web sites you select on your behalf, so that we can present the requested information to you but such information is not required to register on CityPockets.
B. Information on Your Use of CityPockets: CityPockets logs information about your access and use of CityPockets Web Site, including (i) your transactions conducted on CityPockets, including through the use of Internet cookies (discussed below), (ii) the IP addresses from which you came to the site, and (iii) your communications with CityPockets and Web Site. CityPockets may store information users knowingly provide such as feedback forms, suggestions, and emails to the CityPockets website. CityPockets may use such information for its internal purposes, including, but not limited to, email and web design optimizations, new features, and editorial and feedback purposes. Information entered may be aggregated across all users in order to determine and target demographics for marketing and advertising purposes.
C. Information From Third Party Web Sites: In order to display information to you through CityPockets, we must collect, on your behalf, your account and other personal information from third party service providers that you register on CityPockets. For example, if you provide CityPockets with your credentials to a daily deal site, CityPockets will automatically import your purchase information and voucher from the third party account to display it to you on the CityPockets Web Site.
All user information stored by CityPockets is considered confidential and will not be shared with outside parties. CityPockets may share aggregated results of buying habits for all users for marketing and advertising purposes.
If you object to such use for any reason, you can either let us know by sending us feedback, or you can unregister from the CityPockets web service.
What categories of my Personal Information gathered through CityPockets does CityPockets disclose?
Your personal information will not be sold, shared, rented or traded with any affiliated or unaffiliated third parties, except (i) to provide you with CityPockets, (ii) pursuant to joint marketing arrangements described below, or (iii) as required or permitted by law.
For example, in order to provide you with CityPockets services, CityPockets may disclose your username and passwords to third party web sites, such as web sites operated by a daily deal provider, in order to obtain the information that you requested be aggregated and displayed through CityPockets. When you register for CityPockets, you are deemed to authorize disclosures by CityPockets. CityPockets may disclose registration information and information on your use of the CityPockets (excluding information regarding transactions on your aggregated accounts) to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf, or to other daily deal providers with whom CityPockets offers you products and services pursuant to joint marketing agreements. For example, CityPockets may share your personal information with a non-affiliated third party to offer you a new voucher on the CityPockets web site that is provided jointly by CityPockets and an unaffiliated company. CityPockets reserves the right to share aggregated information with third parties in which case personal information about you will never be disclosed. CityPockets reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information when we believe in good faith that release is necessary to comply with that law; enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of CityPockets, our employees, our users, or others.
Will I be contacted if I register for CityPockets?
CityPockets will occasionally contact users by electronic mail to send information or inform them of new features, or to request participation in market surveys. Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option to not receive these types of communications through an opt-out option at the bottom of those emails. However, in order to ensure the quality of CityPockets, CityPockets will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so.
These include a "Welcome Notice" to confirm new membership, "notifications" of password changes or "account lockouts" and other "customer satisfaction" and "customer service" issues. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.
CityPockets will also, by default, send you an automated monthly reminder of all the vouchers that are stored in your account and all the latest deals that are available at the time of the email. This choice can be changed at any time by going to the CityPockets My Accounts page and selecting Edit My Profile.
Does CityPockets use cookies?
CityPockets stores a cookie on your computer if you have cookies enabled. If you do not have cookies enabled, you will not be able to use CityPockets. A cookie is simply a text file, which indicates your CityPockets session identification number. This cookie will only be returned to our server if your browser is set to allow sending of cookies (you can also set it to check for permission before sending cookies). We use cookies for a variety of purposes intended to make the CityPockets a better service for you. For example, we use this cookie to identify existing users of the CityPockets when they enter the web site so that we are able to pre-fill their CityPockets and so that they may receive a start page more optimized for current subscribers than for new users. We also use a cookie to maintain session information for logged in users, to prevent the need for re-entry of login information when browsing outside CityPockets. We reserve the right to use cookies to deliver content specific to your needs and interests. We may also use cookies to track user trends and patterns in order to better understand and improve areas of our sites that our users find valuable. Information collected by CityPockets cookies is not linked to your personally identifiable information. We reserve the right to use unaffiliated third parties to provide services such as web analytics and to display ads on our sites. These types of services may utilize cookies. Cookies received with these services are collected by these unaffiliated third parties, and we do not have access to this information. These cookies will not be linked to personally identifiable information provided as the required information needed to register for CityPockets. The use of cookies by our partners is not covered by this Privacy Policy. We do not have access or control over these cookies.
How is my personal information protected and secured?
At CityPockets, our number one focus is customer trust. The security of your personal information is important to us. CityPockets maintains the highest industry best practices to guard your personal information. When you enter personally identifiable information on our registration page, we encrypt that information using at least 512-bit. However, you also need to work to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by logging off once you have finished using a shared computer.
What if I need to change the personal information I previously disclosed?
The CityPockets site includes a user profile update form for reviewing or updating personal information provided. If your personally identifiable information provided to CityPockets changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct or delete it by logging into your My Account page. If you are unable to change this information through the user profile form provided, you can request the change by sending an email to support@CityPockets.com We will respond to your request within one business day.
We provide an interface to review, update and change access information (such as passwords) for third party sites via the CityPockets My Account page under My Deal Accounts. However, you cannot update or change personal information on a third party web sites directly from CityPockets. To change this access information and other personal information from third party web sites, you will need to follow the procedures set forth by the third party web sites themselves.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, send an email to
support@CityPockets.com
with the subject line "Delete Account," using the email that you registered for an account at CityPockets. In the body of the email, it would be nice if you could tell us why you decided to leave. Once we receive your email, your entire account and the vouchers that are stored within will be permanently deleted.
Does this Privacy Policy apply to third party websites accessed through CityPockets?
No. This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected on www.CityPockets.com, and not services or sites that are accessed through CityPockets. CityPockets acts as your personal agent, communicating between you and the web sites you use. CityPockets does not accept responsibility for the actions and policies of third party web sites you access, either with regard to the personal information you have provided to them, or which you authorize CityPockets to give to them for accessing their web sites, or which they obtain through your use of their web sites directly and/or through CityPockets. You should be careful to review any privacy policies posted on those web sites before signing up with or using them. CityPockets does not accept responsibility for the services provided to you by these third party web sites.
How is Personal Information on former users of the CityPockets treated?
The terms of this Privacy Policy will apply to personal information of former users of CityPockets.
How will disputes regarding the Privacy Policy be handled?
If you have a problem or dispute with CityPockets regarding this Privacy Policy or the treatment of your personal information, this problem or dispute will be subject to both this Privacy Policy and the Terms governing the CityPockets in general.
CityPockets Jobs Section
When you apply for a job on CityPockets.com you are asked for certain personal information such as your name, email address and phone number. We use this information to contact you regarding the job in which you have expressed interest. You are given the opportunity to submit a resume to the site to apply for a job, that resume is only viewable by authorized CityPockets employee's in order to contact you regarding the job for which you have applied. We do not share any of the personal information that you provide within the application with any third party for their promotional purposes.
